Fall Semester IDA Shows

I competed in two Intercollegiate Dressage Association Region C shows with the Cazenovia College Equestrian Team during the Fall Semester. The team's first show of the season was the home show hosted at the Cazenovia College Equine Education Center on October 29th. Coqui was volunteered to "play" IDA as a First Level horse, which meant that I may or may not draw him for my ride. I ended up having Coqui as my draw! We placed 3rd in our class with a 73%! Coqui also had two other rides in the class and placed 4th and 5th with those riders. (Go Coqui!) The Cazenovia team ended up Reserve Champion for the day!

Our next show was at Delaware Valley University on Nevember 19th. I drew a bay mare named Ruby. We had some unfortunate spooks during the test, resulting in a 60% and no placing for the day. The rest of the team did well and we ended up Reserve Champion again, just two points behind the winning team!
